GovCIO is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer and Training Instructor to support FEMA OEHP data modernization. This is a Key Personnel role with virtual instruction via Teams and DHS access, located remotely in the United States.

The incumbent will deliver customized bootcamps, assess learners, and guide project-based learning across Databricks, Power Platform, and related data tools. Ideal candidates have deep Databricks expertise, strong training delivery experience, and the ability to work

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field with deep Databricks expertise and training delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver customized training and bootcamp programs for FEMA-OEHP staff.
Coordinate with stakeholders during pre-planning to finalize curriculum and goals.
Administer initial skills assessment and tailor curriculum to results.
Lead weekly seminars with core and advanced tracks for bootcamp participants.
Build data pipelines integrating Databricks with SharePoint, Power BI, ESRI ArcGIS Pro, and Power Platform.
Provide Databricks platform training covering notebooks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLflow.
