Ladders is seeking a Principal Architect - Databricks to lead technical discovery, design, and architecture guidance for enterprise data platform engagements. You will partner with customer architects, delivery teams, and vendors to shape scalable Lakehouse and AI solutions. Remote in the US, visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture specializing in data platforms.
• Expertise in Databricks and Lakehouse architecture.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise migration initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and production AI solutions.
• Strong presales experience with client engagement and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and design for data platform implementations.
• Develop proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Build and maintain relationships with customer architects.
• Review architecture decisions during project delivery.
• Surface technical risks early in engagements.
• Define success metrics and delivery standards for data platform offerings.
• Collaborate with vendor teams on joint customer engagements.
