Job summary

MaziCTools, a worldwide events company sponsoring athletic competitions in 30 countries, seeks a database developer to architect a data warehouse on BigQuery to support daily reports, weekly metrics, and yearly reconciliations. The role is freelance and remote with flexible, part‑time hours.

You will design scalable pipelines to ingest, transform, and store event data, produce reports for internal stakeholders, and document architecture and data models.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in database development or data architecture.
• Experience with system architecture or leading a software team (preferred).
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Full‑time availability is advantageous, but the position is part‑time.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable data warehouse using BigQuery.
• Develop processes to ingest, transform, and store event‑related data.
• Produce and maintain daily, weekly, and yearly reports for internal stakeholders.
