Job summary

Insight Global is seeking elite Data Engineers to join their Enterprise Data Warehouse team. You will work on legacy redesigns and net-new projects across 12 business units, handling 170PB data in BigQuery and leveraging cutting-edge tools in a centralized data organization for a Fortune 100 retailer.

The role emphasizes systemic thinking, data quality, and the ability to defend technical trade-offs while delivering scalable, robust datasets that perform from day 1 onward.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience in ETL/BI development.
• Proficiency with GCP and BigQuery.
• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Dataform and/or DBT for data transformation.
• Ability to think systemically and explain trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust data pipelines for the enterprise data warehouse.
• Collaborate with project/product management and stakeholders to gather requirements and validations.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and documentation across datasets.
• Mentor peers and promote best practices in data engineering.
