Universal Service Administrative Company seeks an Advisor of Data Strategy and Governance to lead governance initiatives and analytics readiness in Washington, DC. You will partner with the Director of Data Strategy & Insights to shape data architecture, standards, and open data initiatives across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's (Master's preferred), 5+ years of related experience, and strong collaboration, presentation, and analytical skills to guide data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) and relevant technical training.
• Five (5) years of direct related experience.
• One (1) year of business leadership experience.
• Six (6) years of experience overseeing operations and strategic planning.
• Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders and present analyses.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Director in developing and implementing the Data Strategy and Governance framework.
• Assess data architecture and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with IT to define data standards and data quality metrics.
• Synthesize information to recommend governance initiatives.
• Lead procurement and hiring planning for the Data Team.
• Prepare formal reports and present findings to leadership.
• Guide analytics staff on data analysis and dashboarding best practices.
