Job summary

Campbell Soup Company seeks a Data Solutions Architect to shape and advance our enterprise data platform strategy. You will design scalable, secure, and governed data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and business decisions across the organization.

You will mentor data engineering teams, establish architectural standards, and drive best practices for data modeling, ETL/ELT, data governance, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, and SQL-based data solutions.
• Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and establish technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data solutions leveraging Databricks, Azure, and modern cloud data technologies.
• Lead data engineering solution design utilizing Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.
• Guide and mentor teams responsible for data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and data platform implementation.
• Define scalable data integration patterns and data movement strategies.
• Establish and evolve architecture standards, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Implement data security frameworks using Unity Catalog and RBAC, data masking, and least-privilege access.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, lineage, and governance across data solutions.
• Optimize Spark workloads, Delta tables, and SQL queries for performance and cost.
• Review designs and provide guidance to engineers; create architecture documentation and patterns.
• Partner with stakeholders to align data solutions with business objectives and enterprise strategy.
