Zusammenfassung

Aretum is seeking a Data Solution Engineer to provide delivery capacity for pilots and PoCs, execute pipeline development, tagging, policy application, and testing across medallion layers. You may handle CUI and must adhere to safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, applying governance standards, and ensuring data quality across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers in a federal contracting context. Remote work with potential travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• BS/BA degree with 3–5 years of data engineering experience.
• Experience in designing data governance, tagging, and metadata standards.
• Deep understanding of medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold) and data sensitivity.
• Experience implementing column masking, row-level security, and dynamic access controls.
• Strong SQL and Spark skills; ability to define pipeline configuration and data contracts declaratively with YAML.

Aufgaben

• Develop, test and implement data pipelines in Databricks using SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.
• Build and maintain data pipelines across bronze, silver, and gold medallion layers.
• Apply data protection policies including masking, access controls, and reference data lookups.
• Define and maintain pipeline configurations using YAML and code-driven practices.
• Perform data quality testing to ensure accuracy and compliance with data contracts.
