Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Data Scientist, Revenue Cycle to apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning across a complex healthcare environment in the United States. You will transform large datasets from EHRs, billing, and claims platforms into actionable insights to reduce denials and improve reimbursement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, statistics, predictive analytics, and ML.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/R/Java/C++) for data work.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Snowflake).
• Experience building dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data science tooling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex healthcare datasets to identify revenue leakage and performance gaps.
• Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models for denial management and cash optimization.
• Partner with revenue cycle, finance, and clinical leaders to support data-driven decisions.
• Design dashboards and reports to monitor AR days, denial rates, and net revenue.
• Design experiments to evaluate revenue cycle strategies and improvements.
• Identify payer and claim trends to inform interventions.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations for executives and stakeholders.
• Lead analytics projects and collaborate with IT and data teams.
