Job summary

Aptask Global Workforce is seeking a Data Scientist/Analyst for a remote, 6+ month contract with a Global Life Sciences Company. The role focuses on analyzing large data sets to guide targeted marketing and sales initiatives, building models, experiments, and dashboards to drive business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data mining, statistics, and machine learning, with hands-on experience in Salesforce and analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, and

Qualifications

• Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, including reporting, dashboards, campaign structures, lead/contact/account/opportunity objects, and understanding of the underlying CRM data model.
• Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with pattern recognition and predictive modeling through machine learning.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (ex: Python, SAS).
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, global, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Establish standardized definitions for marketing and sales KPIs with stakeholders.
• Apply descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze data and run experiments for causal inferences.
• Develop visualizations and PowerBI dashboards to present results and insights.
• Analyze customer lifecycle performance: acquisition, engagement, lead generation, qualification, pipeline and conversion.
• Mine large structured and unstructured datasets to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
