Job summary

Leaf Home is seeking a Data Scientist II to join our Marketing Science team. You will apply statistical modeling, experimentation, causal inference, and machine learning to assess marketing effectiveness and guide investment decisions across channels and geographies.

You will own analytical capabilities from problem framing to implementation and business adoption, collaborating with data science peers and business partners to scale solutions across use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, math, statistics, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Strong foundation in statistics and applied modeling (regression, predictive modeling, model validation, uncertainty).
• Experience with marketing measurement, MMM, incrementality, attribution, experimentation, or media optimization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance Marketing Science capabilities, including marketing mix modeling (MMM), incrementality measurement, attribution methodology, forecasting, and marketing optimization.
• Partner with Marketing leaders and channel owners to translate strategic questions into rigorous analytical approaches and clear recommendations.
• Translate complex model outputs, assumptions, uncertainty, and limitations into actionable recommendations for Marketing and executives.
• Develop fit-for-purpose analytical products and tools for business users to access Data Science outputs.
• Collaborate with experimentation resources to design tests and connect experimental evidence with broader marketing measurement.
