Job summary

Leaf Home is seeking a Data Scientist II to join the Marketing Science team. You will apply statistical modeling, experimentation, causal inference, and machine learning to understand marketing effectiveness and guide investment decisions.

The role involves owning analytical capabilities from problem definition to business adoption, collaborating across Data Science and business partners to scale solutions across channels and verticals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or related discipline.
• Strong foundation in statistics and applied modeling, including regression, predictive modeling, model validation, uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance Marketing Science capabilities including MMM, incrementality, attribution, forecasting, and marketing optimization.
• Partner with Marketing leaders to translate questions into rigorous analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Translate model outputs and uncertainties into clear guidance for marketing investment decisions.
• Develop analytical products and tools to make data science outputs accessible to business users.
