Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Data Scientist to support the POTFF program, applying advanced analytics, ML, NLP, and data visualization to improve readiness and well-being of Special Operations personnel and families.

You will convert complex data into practical insights, work with product managers, engineers, and clinicians, and help drive evidence-based decisions that enhance program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; 3+ years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling with large data sets.
• Apply data mining, NLP, and ML to improve relevance and personalization algorithms.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to design experiments and MVPs.
• Discover data sources, access, clean, and make them model-ready.
• Create and refine features from underlying data.
• Run regular A/B tests, analyze results, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Explore new design/tech shifts to connect with customer benefits.
