Progressive Leasing is seeking a Data Scientist to blend analytics, data mining, machine learning, and software engineering to deliver data-driven solutions. You’ll build predictive models, develop decision systems, and shape business processes for measurable impact.

The role supports remote work from anywhere in the continental US or Utah office, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and experimentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in product or data analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/technical field (Math, Stats, Econ, Eng, Physics, CS).
• Experience with R, Python, SQL and ML tooling.
• Ability to blend analytics, data mining, ML and software engineering to drive business impact.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve decision systems and predictive models that are key to Progressive Leasing.
• Explore new data sources both internal and external to Progressive Leasing.
• Design, implement, and test experiments to validate hypotheses and business impact.
• Develop and evolve analytics tools and platforms used by product and business teams.
