DataAnnotation offers a fully remote contract role for a Data Scientist - AI Trainer. Work from Brooks, CA (remote) with a flexible schedule and an hourly rate of $50 to $100 USD. You will design coding problems, write clear code samples with explanations, and evaluate AI solutions to improve accuracy and performance.

The role emphasizes training AI systems, providing feedback, and shaping the next generation of models from your home office across the US and other eligible regions.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
• Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, Go, Java, Kotlin or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
