Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an Analytics Engineer - AI Trainer for a contract role anchored in Santa Clara, CA, with remote work and flexible scheduling. You will evaluate AI-generated quantitative work, solve technical problems, and provide feedback to improve AI reasoning.

The position requires 3+ years in a quantitative field, some coding experience, and strong English writing skills. Bachelor's in a quantitative field is preferred; advanced degrees and certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

3+ years in a quantitative role or research environment.
Some coding experience and ability to review analytical code end-to-end.
Experience with statistical methods, predictive modeling, and experiments (A/B testing, regression, time-series).
Fluent English with strong writing skills.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degrees are a plus.
Credentials or demonstrated expertise (e.g., Kaggle rankings, AWS/GCP ML certs) are a plus.

Responsibilities

Assess AI-produced quantitative outputs for technical accuracy and real-world validity.
Develop and solve quantitative tasks to train and benchmark AI systems across forecasting, experiments, and statistics.
Produce clear technical explanations and well-documented analytical code.
Provide feedback to inform next-gen AI models for quantitative reasoning.
