The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the teams that design, build, and maintain enterprise data platforms and the Salesforce‑based AMS. You will oversee data pipelines, data lakes, and warehouses while governing Salesforce AMS configurations and integrations to support analytics and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/IT or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of related work experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading data engineering teams.
• Proficient with AWS, Glue, DMS, and cloud data platforms.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering and Salesforce AMS teams with coaching and development.
• Direct design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data pipelines and data lakes.
• Oversee Salesforce AMS platform configuration, integration, and optimization.
• Manage project planning, delivery, and alignment with business needs.
• Define standards for data engineering, security, and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure operational stability and incident management for data platforms and AMS.
