Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Solutions Architect for a full-time remote contract through December 2026 with potential extension. The role leads data integration across Snowflake, Fabric, and Azure, delivering scalable pipelines and dashboards for clinical and operational users.

You will own CI/CD, IaC, and governance, while collaborating with data, analytics, and application teams. Applicants should have 5+ years in related roles and strong cloud data platform expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, or cloud platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, Fabric, Power BI, and Azure integration services.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end data integration solutions across Snowflake, Fabric, Azure, and reporting surfaces.
• Develop and maintain scalable, observable integration architecture.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and data flow diagrams.
• Define governance patterns, naming conventions, and deployment standards.
• Evaluate Azure-native PaaS, Snowflake features, Fabric capabilities with a balance of innovation and stability.
• Lead data platform decisions and provide architecture guidance to teams.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and orchestration workflows across Snowflake, Fabric, and Azure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python or PowerShell to reduce manual tasks.
• Partner with analytics teams to deliver Power BI and Fabric dashboards for clinical and operational users.
• Ensure data governance and lineage documentation for all data flows.
