Job summary

Ladders seeks a Data Architect - Healthcare Insights, Revenue Cycle to design and own the AI-enabled data platform supporting revenue cycle decision-making. You will shape ingestion through consumption, emphasizing data quality, discoverability, and scalable retrieval.

The role collaborates with AI engineers, leads cross-functional initiatives, and ensures platform reliability using Snowflake, dbt, and cloud architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP. This is a remote US-based position.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in data engineering/architecture with hands-on delivery.
• Expert SQL and strong Python, or Scala/Java.
• Snowflake experience with advanced data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience designing cloud data architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with vector search and embeddings.
• Experience with dbt or comparable semantic layer tooling in production.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own the AI context platform.
• Design end-to-end platform architecture from ingestion to retrieval.
• Define scalable patterns for data refresh and deduplication.
• Set technical direction for retrieval quality in partnership with AI engineers.
• Architect and implement semantic layers for BI and agent reasoning.
• Establish standards for discoverability and reusability across datasets.
• Own reliability and performance at the platform level.
