Job summary

CDPHP is seeking a Manager of Data Platform Administration to lead the Data Platform Administration team in planning, design, development, and maintenance of data systems. The role communicates with users to understand plans, operations, problems and opportunities, and champions standards for data use and governance.

Qualifications

Seven years of related work experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or six years of experience in lieu of degree.
Advanced expertise in database design and production systems.
Experience supervising or managing people or projects.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and control the systems development lifecycle phases.
Review service requests with sponsors and users to clarify intent and solutions.
Estimate staffing, costs, and timelines; allocate resources.
Review major deliverables and ensure walkthroughs with users.
Coordinate with data center management on issues and resource use.
Mentor Data Platform Administration professionals.
Ensure compliance with privacy, regulatory mandates.
Lead meetings and manage attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
