Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc (CDPHP) is seeking an IT Platform Administrator to ensure availability and smooth operation of applications for users in a fast-paced health plan environment.

The role emphasizes monitoring, incident response, maintenance, and self-service automation, with a strong focus on Databricks proficiency and cross‑functional teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Business, Analytics or relevant field; 3 years of experience if no degree.
• Prior experience with enterprise-scale platforms preferred.
• Basic knowledge of OS, scripting, DBMS, cloud platforms, and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, troubleshoots, patches, and maintains enterprise software platforms.
• Monitors uptime, performance, configuration, and backups for recoverability.
• Triages incidents and documents root cause analyses.
