Own technical direction, set the bar, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and design APIs for AI agents. Mentor engineers and build a high‑performing culture, with security and reliability as customer value.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of hands-on software development across multiple languages.
• Proven track record architecting scalable and secure systems.
• Extensive API design experience enabling system integrations and AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction across VAL's growth and operations engineering.
• Set the technical bar and contribute to hardest problems directly.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Architect systems and APIs for AI agents as first-class users.
• Drive shift to agentic engineering with safe automation vs human sign-off.
• Mentor engineers and build a high-performing engineering culture.
