Job summary

Figma is building a world-class data platform to power analytics, data science, and AI-driven products. As a Data Platform Engineer, you’ll own and evolve scalable infrastructure, improve developer workflows, and enable self-serve analytics across teams.

You’ll collaborate across Data Engineering, Data Infrastructure, and Product Engineering to deliver reliable data pipelines, monitoring, and governance, while shaping the next generation of data tooling at Figma.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production data platforms or distributed systems.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python or similar languages.
• Experience improving developer workflows: local development, testing, CI/CD, or deployment.
• Experiência com infraestrutura de dados moderna e observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the shared data platform powering analytics and data-driven product development.
• Improve data development workflows including local development, testing, CI/CD, staging and deployment.
• Create self-service tools and clear paths for teams to build and operate data pipelines.
• Improve reliability of data systems through monitoring, data quality, and incident response.
• Define ownership, lineage, and reliability expectations for data assets.
