Job summary

Figma is seeking a Senior leader to guide the Data Platform team, scaling data infrastructure that powers core metrics, product analytics, and AI initiatives. You will set strategic direction, mentor engineers, and partner with Product, Finance, and Engineering to align on high-impact work.

The role can be remote within the United States and may be based in one of our US hubs. You will drive reliability, scale, and platform investments while growing a healthy, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data platform teams in production environments.
• Experience scaling data infrastructure systems in large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building and operating Figma's data platform, owning delivery, technical direction, and team health.
• Set the roadmap and technical strategy for your sub area, and provide hands-on technical leadership where needed.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and forward strategy of the platform as adoption grows across engineering and product teams.
• Hire, grow, and coach engineers and tech leads to build a high-performing, inclusive team.
• Partner with Data Science, Product, Finance, and Engineering to identify priorities and drive alignment.
