Figma is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering - Data Platform to lead a fast-growing team building and operating the data platform that powers metrics, product analytics, and AI experiments. You will set the technical direction, grow the team, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Data Science, Product, Finance, and Engineering.

This is a full-time role based in the US, remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing engineers, including senior ICs or tech leads.
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling data platform or data infrastructure in production.
• Strong software engineering background with current depth to set technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building and operating Figma's data platform, owning delivery, technical direction, and team health.
• Set the roadmap and technical strategy for your sub area, providing hands-on technical leadership as needed.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and long-term platform strategy as adoption grows across teams.
• Hire, grow, and coach engineers and tech leads to build a healthy, high-performing team.
