Ladders is seeking a Data Ops - Lead Data Builder to turn architectures and requirements into scalable, governed data assets for enterprise analytics. The role emphasizes production-grade, reusable data solutions in a Databricks-first environment.

You will collaborate with data architecture and cross-functional teams to deliver Silver and Gold-layer pipelines with strong data governance, CI/CD integration, and metadata capture. Remote within the US with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production-grade data solutions.
• Strong blend of business fluency and hands-on engineering skills.
• Proficiency in Databricks, Spark, Unity Catalog, SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Teradata in a Databricks-first environment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated code evaluation for production promotion.

Responsibilities

• Build production-time data solutions from architectural designs and business requirements.
• Quickly develop working solutions for new and unfamiliar data.
• Refactor bespoke work into durable, reusable assets.
• Construct physical Silver structures based on data architecture designs.
• Implement designs through governed CI/CD pipelines.
• Capture business context and metadata during the build process.
• Deliver Gold solutions through MVP while ensuring production-grade quality.
