Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a Data Modeling Engineer (Security Architect - Consultant) for a 100% remote engagement with a large enterprise security team. The contractor will design, implement and maintain Cribl data modeling and log ingestion for secure, scalable environments.

You will collaborate with Security Architects on enterprise solutions, support SIEM, XDR, DLP and endpoint tooling, and help with Linux sensors, deployments and security automation.

Qualifications

• Cribl data modeling and log pipeline design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and engineering principles.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise security tools (SIEM, XDR, Vulnerability Management, DLP, endpoint security).
• Experience developing automation with Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat detection and defensive security.
• Experience with Linux and Windows OS hardening and security configuration.
• Understanding of networking concepts and secure system design.

Responsibilities

• Cribl data modeling and log pipeline ingestion responsibilities.
• Support SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, DLP, and endpoint security.
• Assist with design and configuration of Linux-based security sensors and endpoints.
• Collaborate with Security Architects to design enterprise security solutions.
• Develop automation/integrations and write technical documentation.
• Support incident detection, response, and mitigation efforts.
