Job summary

Qualifications

• Cribl data modeling and log pipeline design/implementation.
• Experience with enterprise security tools (SIEM, XDR, Vulnerability Management, DLP, endpoints).
• Scripting with Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and threat detection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, deployment and support of Cribl data modeling and log ingestion for enterprise security platforms.
• Support SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, DLP and endpoint tools.
• Collaborate with security architects to design and implement enterprise security solutions.
• Design, deploy and manage countermeasures against known threats and emerging threats.
• Ensure consistent security controls across infrastructure; validate effectiveness and improve as needed.
• Support incident detection and response through monitoring and log analysis.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation guides and SOPs.
• Perform other duties for the Division of Information Security.
