Job summary

Motif Neurotech is seeking a strategic leader to oversee clinical evidence generation and external research partnerships while shaping the scientific narrative for a new class of psychiatric therapy. This remote role includes periodic visits to Motif Headquarters in Houston, Texas.

You will lead multimodal data collection and biomarker discovery for mental health disorders, integrating implantable neurotech data with wearables to optimize dosing, adherence, and relapse prediction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience translating medical data into patient benefit within medtech or biotech industries.
• Experience building data collection, management, and analysis infrastructure in growing organizations.
• Knowledge of US regulatory pathways (FDA IDE/PMA) for data-driven features.
• Experience with complex data streams from electrophysiological sources, wearables, and related data.
• Travel availability to conferences and onsite Houston meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the data science and machine learning roadmap.
• Define data strategy and execute data collection initiatives.
• Create analytic pipelines to fuse internal, external, and partner data sets for scalable discovery.
• Lead teams to develop biomarkers and insights for dosing, efficacy, and candidate selection.
• Partner with R&D to embed data features in future products and enable rapid research.
