Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote U.S.-based field-based Clinical Research professional to support Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health studies. You will work with physicians and sites to ensure protocol adherence, data quality, and patient care across multiple study sites.

The role requires extensive travel (70–75%), strong clinical/technical background, and experience with device programming and procedural support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of clinical/technical/field service or related experience.
• Experience supporting device-based clinical, technical, procedural, or patient-facing activities.
• Ability to travel 70–75% across the United States.
• Experience in clinical research or regulated medical device environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide field-based technical, procedural, and clinical support for Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health studies, including implant procedures, device programming, follow-up visits, troubleshooting, and patient support.
• Collaborate with physicians, investigators, and site staff to ensure protocol compliance, enrollment, patient follow-up, and data quality throughout the study lifecycle.
• Serve as a technical resource across Clinical Research, Engineering, Medical Affairs, and field teams to support study execution.
• Support study planning, activation, and site initiation activities with review of plans, workflows, and documentation.
• Deliver education and training to clinicians and staff on device functionality and study requirements.
• Document observations, issues, and feedback; communicate trends and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor field-based colleagues by sharing best practices and workflow knowledge.
