Job summary

Motif Neurotech, a Houston-based medical device startup, seeks a strategist to oversee multimodal data collection, biomarker discovery, and translation into scalable therapies. The role focuses on novel neural data from a new implantable platform alongside wearables, enabling dosing, adherence, relapse prediction, and therapy response insights.

Qualifications

• 10+ years translating medical data into patient benefit in medtech/pharma/biotech.
• Experience building data collection, management and analysis infrastructure.
• Knowledge of US regulatory pathways (FDA IDE/PMA) for data driven features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the data science and ML roadmap.
• Define data strategies to collect biomarkers and scale data across local and cloud infrastructures.
• Architect data platforms turning scale into assets and enable partnerships/grants.
• Collaborate with R&D, clinical, and research to embed data features in future products.
• Lead teams to validate biomarkers and insights for dosing, efficacy, and predictive delivery.
