Job summary

Keep Company seeks a data-focused engineer to own the analytical data foundation, pipelines, and quality. You will shape the data architecture and instrument product and HRIS data to support reporting, analytics, and early predictive use cases.

As the first dedicated data hire, you will lead model development and strategy, collaborating with Product and Engineering to improve matching, recommendations, and intervention decisions as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on data engineering or analytics experience at a tech company.
• Experience with transformation tooling such as dbt and building data pipelines.
• Deep SQL fluency and data warehouse modeling experience.
• Ability to handle messy, incomplete, or unstandardized data and to design robust metrics.
• Strong skills in experimental design, interpretation, and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to work with Product and Engineering to instrument products and turn behavior into data.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytical data foundation: warehouse, pipelines, quality, and docs.
• Establish reliable analytical sources of truth and durable datasets for internal use.
• Improve data collection across product, HRIS, surveys, and platform activity.
• Build reusable measurement layers and client-facing reporting.
• Develop models and a data strategy to move toward predictive and recommendations.
