Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines connecting source financial systems to the new budgeting and forecasting platform. This full-time role is 100% remote with minimal travel and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You will work with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and related tools to ensure data quality, mappings, and secure data flow. Collaboration with clients and SMEs is essential to deliver accurate, timely insights for budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience designing and delivering ETL/ELT pipelines for financial data.
• Proficiency with SAP analytics and data platforms is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial data structures and data quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for financial data.
• Analyze source systems like SAP S/4HANA and other government financial systems.
• Create data mappings and write CDS views and SQL to transform data.
• Implement data quality checks and reconciliation processes.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and optimize performance to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and client SMEs.
• Develop technical documentation and SOPs.
