Job summary

ICF is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join a remote-enabled team focused on migrating legacy workloads to modern data and AI solutions. The role emphasizes data movement, APIs, security, and reliable feeds within a cloud-first data platform supporting thousands of users.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL, Python, Spark, and REST API skills and will collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and Security teams to deliver scalable integration capabilities across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, data engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant data integration experience.
• Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to work in the U.S. and reside in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Implements data movement, replication, APIs, interoperability patterns to connect source systems and legacy data pathways to Summit.
• Coordinates secure connectivity with Platform Engineering and Security, documents approved connection patterns, and supports reliable feeds by validating performance, lineage, error handling, and runbooks.
• Apply Data integration, APIs, replication, source-system connectivity, secure data movement, ETL/ELT, operational runbooks, and migration support to enable role delivery.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, governance, and customer-facing stakeholders as required.
