Job summary

Clarium is hiring a Data Integration Engineer to own hospital data integrations end-to-end. You will design production data pipelines and work directly with customers to understand source systems, ensuring reliable ingestion and transformation into Astra OS.

You will partner with data engineers and product managers to iterate feeds, build reusable connectors, and keep production systems robust while communicating clearly with stakeholders across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production-grade code.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines or integrations in production.
• Comfort working with external customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and read documentation.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, SFTP, or similar data exchange patterns.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with hospital IT and supply chain teams.
• Design and own production data pipelines ingesting data from ERP and other systems.
• Troubleshoot live integration issues and data quality problems.
• Build reusable connectors and patterns to speed future onboarding.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate learnings into platform improvements.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks for scalable integrations.
• Communicate status, risks, and timelines to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
