Job summary

The role emphasizes building ingestion pipelines, collaborating with scientists, and shaping a roadmap for Speechify’s next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industry software development experience.
• Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and ingest new audio data sources for the ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline (GCP, Terraform).
• Collaborate with Scientists to optimize data quality, cost, and throughput for large-scale datasets.
• Coordinate with the AI Team and Leadership to define the dataset roadmap for next-gen products.
