Job summary

Trilogy Federal is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and sustain enterprise workflow and case management apps for a federal health client. You will build components, data models, integrations, and reporting for multi-level clinical reviews, while writing tests, using Git, and delivering incremental work in an Agile setting.

The role blends application development and data engineering, with emphasis on intake forms, dashboards, data pipelines, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of software development or data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with data modeling skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and Git-based workflows.
• Experience using Power Platform and SharePoint Online.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain application components including intake forms and dashboards.
• Design data structures to support routing, threshold logic, versioning, and reporting.
• Build data pipelines to ingest, validate, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored logic for functionality and data quality.
• Develop REST API integrations and structured data exchanges with other systems.
• Create reporting views and dashboards for status, SLA, and enterprise metrics.
