Job summary

Prominence Advisors, Inc is seeking a Data Engineer (Snowflake) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for healthcare and life sciences clients. You will work on production Snowflake workloads, optimize queries, and ensure robust CI/CD practices.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years Snowflake production experience, strong SQL and Python, and a passion for turning raw data into actionable insights. This is a fully remote US-based role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles.
• 2+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience in production environments with sizing, cost management, and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience building transformation/orchestration logic in Snowflake with dbt, Snowflake Streams/Tasks, or Snowpark.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, dimensional modelling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Snowflake integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
• Ingest, transform, and deliver data from diverse sources into analytics-ready structures in Snowflake.
• Collaborate with client architects and analysts to explain tradeoffs and implement solutions.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of data pipelines.
• Mentor and guide teammates in best practices for data engineering.
