Job summary

Perform is seeking a data engineering professional to drive production-grade data pipelines and analytics capabilities across complex application initiatives. You will design and implement data models, SQL Server and NoSQL schemas, and APIs, collaborating in an agile team to deliver scalable data solutions with a focus on quality and performance.

The role emphasizes production-grade schema design, indexing, and query optimization, with Azure data services and Python scripting to support data

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science with at least five years delivering production solutions.
Experience with MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and Azure data services.
Strong data modeling, schema design, and data quality practices.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and data pipelines.
Experience with version control and CI/CD in agile environments.

Responsibilities

Support data engineering execution across complex app initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering teammates to design and build data models, stored procedures, and database objects.
Develop and maintain SQL Server databases including schema design, indexing, and stored procedures.
Work with MongoDB to design document schemas for NoSQL alongside relational workloads.
Participate in code and schema reviews to uphold data quality and performance.
Develop data pipelines, APIs, and data management tools in an agile environment with CD.
