Job summary

Jobless is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines. The role requires 8+ years of hands-on experience with Python/SQL, ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms, data warehousing, and distributed processing.

You will collaborate with data scientists, BI developers, software engineers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable analytics and AI/ML-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and distributed processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Build robust ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
• Develop optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Design data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouses with dimensional models.
• Work with Spark/PySpark for large datasets.
• Develop pipelines using Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or dbt.
• Implement data security, governance, and observability practices.
