Versant is seeking a Data Engineer II to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across AWS, enabling analytics and product intelligence for GolfNow and Sports Next.

You will collaborate with data engineers, software teams, and analytics partners to deliver reliable data solutions, improve data quality, and support decision making. This fully remote role offers opportunities for in-person collaboration ~10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering with cloud pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for ETL workflows.
• Experience with data modeling and warehousing.
• Knowledge of AWS services (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Familiarity with Airflow and Terraform.
• Excellent collaboration and communication.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations across AWS and Microsoft technologies, following established architecture and engineering standards.
• Develop and enhance data models and warehouse structures that support analytics, reporting, product insights, and BI use cases.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, identifying root causes and improving data quality and reliability.
• Partner with engineering, product, and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to data quality, governance, testing, documentation, and operational standards.
• Participate in technical design discussions and evaluate tools and practices to improve scalability.
