Job summary

ClassLink is seeking an Agentic Data Engineer, IC2 to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms, pipelines, integrations, APIs, and cloud-native services. You will work across engineering teams to develop secure, reliable data solutions and contribute to automation, data quality, governance, and reusable frameworks.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines and REST APIs, applying AI-assisted practices, owning implementations from design to deployment, and mentoring Associate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python and PostgreSQL expertise.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and REST APIs.
• Apply AI-assisted practices to improve quality and productivity.
• Own implementation for assigned data engineering initiatives from design to deployment.
• Design multi-tenant data architectures for secure, scalable processing.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines with REST APIs, SFTP, events, and queues.
• Extend relational models, migrations, and optimize DB performance.
• Develop automated testing for APIs, ETL, and data validation.
• Support AWS-based data platforms with automation and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with teams and mentor Associate Data Engineers.
