Job summary

Trilogy Federal seeks a Data Engineer to design and sustain enterprise workflow and case management applications for a federal health client. You will implement intake forms, dashboards, and data structures, and build data pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources.

Youll collaborate with senior staff in an Agile setting, delivering incremental work while maintaining documentation and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, software engineering, or similar.
• 8+ years of experience in software development or data engineering or closely related technical role.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with REST API experience and JSON data formats.
• Ability to learn new platforms quickly and work in a remote or hybrid team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain application components including intake forms and dashboards.
• Design and maintain relational and list-based data structures to support routing and reporting.
• Build data pipelines ingesting data from Excel, CSV, forms, and upstream systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored logic for functionality and data quality.
• Develop REST API integrations and data exchanges between systems.
• Create reporting views and dashboards for status, SLA, and performance metrics.
• Translate epics and stories into working features and participate in sprints.
• Produce technical docs, data dictionaries, and runbooks for onboarding and feature integration.
