Job summary

Staritas is a data engineer role focused on designing, building, and optimizing scalable data solutions for healthcare technology platforms and business operations. You will collaborate with Software Engineering, Product, Analytics, and stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, secure, and accessible for informed decision-making.

This role emphasizes ETL/ELT pipelines, data governance, and analytics, with a fully remote setup and the opportunity to impact patient outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of data engineering experience.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations.
• Hands-on with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting or BI.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Build data integrations across internal and external systems.
• Develop data warehouses, marts, and models for reporting.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate data solutions.
• Partner with analytics teams to translate data needs.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and QA.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance.
• Create data dictionaries and data flow diagrams.
• Evaluate improvements to data architecture and tools.
