Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data architectures and pipelines in the AWS GovCloud environment for mission-critical government projects.

You will work with data architects, engineers, and analysts to migrate on-prem data to cloud solutions, ensure data quality and security, and deliver scalable data processing systems that support reporting and insights. This role requires a Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and cloud data services.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain data architectures and databases in the AWS GovCloud environment.
• Develop, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable data architectures and migrate data to cloud-based solutions.
• Build scalable data pipelines and API integrations with secure data movement.
• Implement data delivery systems to transform data into insights and reporting.
• Promote solutions that meet business requirements and industry best practices.
• Implement ETL/ELT data extraction, loading, and synchronization routines.
