Job summary

Hallmark is seeking a Data Engineer to design and evolve its enterprise data and analytics ecosystem. You will transform diverse source data into trusted datasets powering reporting, self-service analytics, and AI initiatives across Retail, Manufacturing, and Finance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions, participate in cloud modernization, and help improve data quality, governance, and delivery efficiency within a remote US-based team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing data pipelines.
• Experience with data warehousing and data integration concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and data management best practices.
• Experience ensuring data quality, validation, and monitoring.
• Experience partnering with business analysts, BI engineers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver data pipelines and data products.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
• Build reusable datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and reliability issues.
• Collaborate with BI developers, analysts, and product owners to deliver data assets.
• Participate in sprint planning and solution design discussions.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance.
