Job summary

Hallmark is seeking a Data Engineer to build and evolve its enterprise data and analytics ecosystem. You will design scalable data solutions that empower reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives across Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Digital Commerce, and Finance.

You will partner with BI developers, analysts, and product owners to deliver trusted data assets, improve data quality, and support cloud modernization and data platform initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience.
• 3+ years designing data pipelines with Teradata and Snowflake.
• Experience in data warehousing and data integration concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and monitoring.
• Experience communicating complex data to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with retail industry data sources and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and products.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise apps, cloud platforms, APIs, and systems.
• Create reusable datasets for reporting, analytics, and ML.
• Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues.
• Collaborate with BI developers and analysts to deliver trusted data assets.
• Support data governance with lineage and metadata documentation.
• Participate in sprint planning and solution design.
