Job summary

EXANTE is hiring a hands-on data engineer to own development in a GCP + dbt + Power BI stack. You will build reliable data models, connect data from databases, APIs and files, and ensure datasets meet reporting needs with proper validation.

The role emphasizes SQL mastery, production ELT pipelines, and strong data quality controls, with remote work flexibility and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• In-depth SQL knowledge with ability to write and debug complex queries.
• Experience with ELT pipelines, data integration and modelling in production.
• Understanding of data quality and data warehouse design principles.
• Reliable, independent, and capable of end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data models, transformations and pipelines across BigQuery and dbt.
• Consolidate data from databases, APIs, file feeds and external providers.
• Translate reporting needs into accurate, well-tested datasets.
• Implement validation and monitoring to catch data issues early.
• Ensure timely day-to-day data delivery and reliability.
