Job summary

DCV Technologies is seeking a Senior GCP Data Engineer to help migrate and modernize a Data Quality monitoring solution on Google Cloud Platform using dbt Core. You will build ELT pipelines, implement quality controls, and collaborate with data modelers, analysts, and testers to ensure data accuracy and readiness for business use.

The role is fully remote with cross-functional collaboration across teams, focusing on data migration, validation, and cloud-native modernization of data quality

Qualifications

• Mid-level or Senior Data Engineer with hands-on data pipelines experience.
• Strong SQL and ETL/ELT capabilities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a GCP Data Engineer to contribute to the migration and modernization of a Data Quality monitoring solution, moving from a legacy environment to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and dbt Core.

You’ll develop data pipelines and ELT processes, implement data quality controls, and help ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and ready for business use. Working closely with data modelers, business analysts, and test engineers, you’ll contribute to a solution that combines cloud technologies with robust data validation practices.

• Experience with data migration and transformation activities.

• Understanding of Data Quality monitoring concepts and validation processes.

• Experience with system integrations and data processing workflows.

• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Hands-on experience with BigQuery.

• Experience working with dbt Core.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
