Job summary

Veterans EZ Info Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer for a 100% remote role on a large federal government project. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, focusing on healthcare analytics and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years designing data solutions, experience with Python, Spark, SQL, ETL/ELT, and Azure Synapse/Data Factory, and can contribute to secure, reliable data platforms used by VA initiatives, with Power BI for analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting data engineering solutions in enterprise data and analytics environments.
• Experience with Python, Spark, SQL, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing technologies.
• Experience with GitHub, data integration, and data analytics solutions.
• Experience supporting federal government programs and consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build and optimize data solutions in Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
• Integrate data from multiple sources through APIs and other system integration methods.
• Develop and support data analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and performance across data platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions for healthcare and VA initiatives.
• Manage and track development activities using Agile methodologies and Jira.
