Job summary

Kevin M. Downey is seeking a Data Engineer to support and expand API, web services, and data integration for a U.S.-based logistics and retail SaaS company. This full-time remote contract role focuses on hands-on integration work with APIs, data mappings, ETL processes, and data quality.

You will analyze specifications, build and test integrations, troubleshoot failures, and document configurations, while collaborating with a remote technical team and stakeholders across partners.

Qualifications

• Experience with APIs, data integration, and file-based transactions.
• Ability to read technical integration specifications and map data.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and support API, web service, and file-based integrations.
• Analyze technical specifications and data requirements from partners.
